Assessment Tools for Smarter Hiring, Stronger Leaders & More Aligned Teams

Why psychometric assessments matter

Hiring decisions, leadership development, and team performance are all shaped by more than technical skills alone. The way people communicate, make decisions, respond under pressure, lead others, and work within a team can significantly influence outcomes.

Psychometric assessments provide structured insight into these human dynamics. At Lifespiration Consulting Group, we use assessments to go beyond surface-level observations and help organizations make more informed people decisions — whether the goal is to hire with greater confidence, develop stronger leaders, or improve team effectiveness.

Assessment tools we use

We use two powerful assessment tools — EQ-i 2.0 / EQ 360 and the Nova Global Profile — to help organizations gain deeper insight into how people lead, communicate, collaborate, and perform. These tools can support recruitment, leadership coaching, and team development with a more informed, personalized approach.

Behavioral & Motivational Insight: Nova Global Profile

A behavioral and motivational assessment that helps uncover a person’s natural style, adapted style, motivators, strengths, and work-related preferences.

Best for

  • Recruitment and role alignment
  • Communication styles
  • Team collaboration and workplace dynamics
  • Leadership coaching

The Nova Global Profile is a psychometric assessment that provides insight into how a person naturally operates, how they adapt in different environments, what motivates them, and how they are likely to communicate, collaborate, and lead.

  • Natural and adapted behavioral style
  • Communication preferences
  • Motivators and values
  • Leadership tendencies
  • Strengths and development areas

Participants complete a short questionnaire and receive a guided debrief to better understand their style, drivers, talents, and workplace preferences. This can then be applied in hiring, coaching, or team development contexts.

For recruitment

  • Helps assess alignment between candidate style and role demands
  • Supports hiring decisions beyond the resume
  • Can highlight likely communication style, motivators, and workplace fit

For team synergy

  • Helps team members understand differences in style and motivation
  • Reduces friction caused by miscommunication
  • Turns differences into complementary strengths

For leadership coaching

  • Helps leaders understand their natural leadership approach
  • Highlights how they adapt under pressure or in different environments
  • Supports development in communication, delegation, and influence

Emotional Intelligence: EQ-i 2.0® & EQ 360® 2.0

A leading emotional intelligence assessment that helps measure how individuals perceive, manage, and express emotions, build relationships, make decisions, and handle stress.

Best for

  • Leadership development
  • Communication and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Self-awareness and coaching

The EQ-i 2.0 is a well-established emotional intelligence assessment that measures how individuals understand and manage emotions, relate to others, cope with pressure, and navigate workplace demands.

The EQ 360 complements this by gathering feedback from others, providing a broader picture of how an individual is perceived in action.

  • Self-perception and self-awareness
  • Emotional expression
  • Interpersonal effectiveness
  • Decision-making
  • Stress management

Participants complete the EQ-i 2.0 self-assessment, and where appropriate, the EQ 360 can be added to gather feedback from supervisors, peers, and/or direct reports. Results are reviewed in a guided debrief and can then be integrated into coaching, leadership development, or team initiatives.

For recruitment

  • Helps explore leadership readiness and interpersonal fit in people-facing or management roles
  • Adds behavioral insight beyond experience alone
  • Supports more thoughtful conversations around communication style, resilience, and decision-making
